Our Editorial Standards

StylingCV is committed to publishing accurate, useful, and unbiased career content. This page explains how we research, write, review, and update every article, guide, and template on our platform.

Who Creates Our Content

Our content is produced by the StylingCV Editorial Team — a group of career writers, HR professionals, and resume specialists with direct experience in recruitment across MENA, North America, Europe, and Asia-Pacific markets. All contributors are identified on each article’s author page.

Research Methodology

  • We analyze real job postings from current job boards (LinkedIn, Bayt.com, Glassdoor, Indeed) to validate advice.
  • Resume template recommendations are tested against major ATS platforms including Workday, Taleo, Greenhouse, Lever, iCIMS, and BambooHR.
  • Statistics cited from external sources are hyperlinked to their original publication. We do not present paraphrased stats without attribution.
  • We do not accept payment for positive reviews of third-party products or services.

Comparison & Review Articles

When we compare StylingCV to competitor tools, our editorial team evaluates each product independently using a documented scoring rubric covering ATS compatibility, template quality, ease of use, pricing transparency, and language support. Comparison articles are reviewed by a second editor before publication.

Updates & Accuracy

Content is reviewed at minimum annually. Articles covering job market statistics, ATS compatibility lists, or platform pricing are updated quarterly. Each article displays its last-reviewed date. If you spot an error, please contact us — we commit to corrections within 5 business days.

Affiliate & Commercial Relationships

StylingCV does not currently participate in affiliate marketing programs. If this changes, all affiliate content will be clearly labelled. We are not compensated by the companies we compare ourselves to in our review articles.
